SEPHORA'S Digital Press Event SS22
Sephora was founded in France in 1969 and in 1997 they joined Groupe LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. Becoming part of the largest luxury group in the world was an obvious step in the development.
Sephora is always in the forefront when it comes to beauty and is known for being the most innovative beauty chain in the world. The brand offers the unique concept of completely dedicating a space to beauty and offers a varied range of brands and products - from original, timeless and classic brands to the most well-known and rarest brands.
In order to celebrate and present Sephora's SS22 news Spalt PR got the assignment to arrange an inspiring event for beauty press and profiles for the Swedish and Danish market. Due to the circumstances regarding Covid-19 Spalt PR decided to arrange an exclusive digital VIP event hosted by Sephora. Spalt PR invited a hundred people of the Swedish and Danish beauty elite, both influencers and editors, who were exclusively selected to fit Sephora’s target group. The digital event was executed on a website created just for the occasion.
Throughout the event Sephora and their brands got the opportunity to present and promote their news of SS22. Many of the brands had their own sections with fun and engaging content where the aim was to educate and inspire the attendees. Some of the brands created involvement from the attendances with competitions where the guests had the chance to win luxurious prices like a night at a fancy hotel, an evening at a specially selected restaurant and an annual consumption of products from the brands.
To keep the digital event engaging, Spalt PR coordinated the addresses of the attendees in order to send out luxurious and generous goodie bags with top products of SS22 before the event. That way the influencers and press were inspired to try the new products, meanwhile different brands presented their news and demonstrated the best way of using them.
The main goal of the event was to present, educate and enlighten the attendees of Sephora’s SS22 news and create media coverage throughout social media and beauty press. The event resulted in great media exposure through the attendees and their social media channels. The outcome of the event was very successful as Spalt PR managed to create a buzz about many of the SS22 news.
